2.7 CRD probs Hi All, New owner of Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD.2002.70k miles. Intend to sort out minor/medium probs myself. On reading other threads many probs are common. would someone mind comment on following or give me silver bullet sites for solutions. 1. Cold start. WJ 2.7 CRD performance questions. The forums have already been of tremendous help so far in my ownership, but I still have a couple of questions I was hoping you guys could help me 2.7 CRD auto stuck in gear. Hi, we have been having an ongoing problem with this 03 CRD auto. It would sometimes stick in gear and engine light would come on, mostly 2nd gear and if you turned it on and off then it would be fine and drive no problem. We tried to sort the issue a few times but nobody could read the codes except the dealer and Flick ignition key 3 times in quick succesion without starting car, until warning lights come on. The odometer should then scroll through codes and you will most likely get a P0702, which is a likely indication of shifter board fault although it can be caused by other problems. You can buy replacement off eBAY for about £300, from Estonia. And my money is 50% on that, and 50% on non-sealed fuel supply, here's why: My first attempt to fix it was taking the jeep to injector specialists - all 5 injectors were fully refurbished, brand new Bosch nozzles fitted, I thought my problems were over but no - still long cranks. Hi! I have a 2003 2.7 CRD Grand Cherokee and the Cruise Control has become intermittent during use it will suddenly stop working and when that happens even the green cruise light dissapears however if I stop turn it off and back on again it will work for a while before cutting out again. My jeep WJ 2.7 CRD went into limp mode last November, the usual codes came up, and i ended up buying a gearbox PCB from Estonia at the cost of £300. Today i pulled up to a car park, went to move off, there was no drive, as if i were in Neutral. I turned ignition off on everything working fine again. 2.7 CRD high pressure diesel pump. Just wanted to share my experience with a leaking high pressure diesel pump in my 2003 Grand Cherokee 2.7 CRD. My mechanic tried to find a seal kit but had no luck at Jeep, Mercedes and diesel electric. Mercedes quoted R16'000 for a new pump. I did a bit of research and found the part number for the seal kit I7h7D.
