I was going to reDL gw2 last night to play with a friend but the site was all messed up and I couldn't reset my password which I've forgotten. I put in my email and click the "Reset Password" button, but the page it brought me to was blank and I never received an email. I chalked this up to the site being messed up and went to bed. A Guild Wars 2 account's price depends on the following: Character class (es), level, and build. Gear. Amount of currency – coins or gems. The more/higher they are, the higher the price of that account will or should be. At the same time, paying a considerable amount for a good Guild Wars 2 account is worth it, especially if a player has Account & Technical Support. Come back after years to find characters missing. So decided to play gw2 after being away since 2013? before the first expansion, and every one of my characters are missing, achievement points 0 etc. and i get 2 popups saying what server would you like to be your home and what one would you like to transfer to.so Every time i try to log in i encounter an errors that says: "The account name or password you entered is invalid. Please check your information and try again." Account Creation Failed. You are not authorized to create an account. Trying Try contacting supporting about the 2FA. I once accidentally deleted the 2FA to my account and support was able to remove it within a couple of hours. Was able to relog back into my account and setup another 2FA. So they increased the difficulty of account/password restoration. Overall it's a good thing, even if it occasionally inconveniences folks like OP. Pro-tip: save your CD keys, serial #'s and similar important bits of info in the notes field in your password manager alongside your actual password to that site/game. But, if you have any screenshots of when you played before, you can try checking there to recover a character name. Don't forget that GW characters have at least two names, not just one like most games, if that helps you remember your name. The character name requirement was implemented as a response to the number of account hackings that I accidentally unclicked remember password on the launcher, and for the life of me, can't remember my password.
