2002 Jaguar X-Type 2.1 V6. A simply stunning X-type with just 17,320 miles! HISTORY. Purchased in January 2002 from Paramount Jaguar in Derby the first owner then sold the car to a magistrate who passed away and gifted the car to her chauffeur. The third and forth owners were collectors. 2004 X-Type 2.5 V6 SE Climate Control Lost Communication. I have recently aquired a Jaguar X-Type 2.5 V6 SE registered in 2004 that seems to have everything in it. Touc Screen, Sat Nav, Phone etc and all is good except a couple things. 1) The climate control, none of it works and when you press the climate button it just says Climate Control Take off axle stands and take for a test drive. 2.0 Diesel and 2.1 Petrol rear wheel bearing replacement. Put hand brake on. Jack car up and put it on axle stands. Remove wheel. Spray all nuts with plus gas and go have a coffee. Release hand brake. Using pipe pliers. close the hand brake and release the cable. Faults: Nothing. This car has been great!! Going on 82000 miles, just changed brakes and rotors for the first time, and installed new struts. Have not had any mechanical problems, and continues to run great.
